The CBTS, Inc. Intensive Supervision program constitutes one-on-one supervision provided by trained paraprofessionals (Specialists) for youth generally living in proctor homes, their family home or independent living.
Treatment Goals are Accomplished by Providing
ASSESSMENT
Thorough mental health assessments and individualized treatment planning.
SUPERVISION
Close supervision.
LIMITATIONS
Fair and consistent limits, with natural and logical consequences.
SUPPORT
A supportive relationship with program staff, as well as individual, family, and group therapy.
SERVICES
Assisting case managers with the coordination of needed community services such as therapy, educational/vocational programs, employment and recreational services.
Monitoring the quality and need for continued services.
Monitoring the youth’s behavior while in the community.
Teaching basic living skills.
Assisting youth to develop competence in basic skills such as grooming, personal hygiene and maintenance of their living environment.
Supporting the youth’s treatment goals.
Assisting youth in eliminating behaviors that inhibit their social functioning.
Assisting youth in developing community awareness.
Advocacy
Behavioral interventions.
Coordinating with the youth’s parents/guardians/proctor parents.
